It happened in Rheinhessen …

It happened on a sunny day in mid-September in Rheinhessen on the hills of the northern Rhine Valley. The vines stood in full fruit and at the best maturity when their existence was suddenly and unexpectedly brought to an abrupt end. The grapes were separated from the vine with a sharp object. According to initial findings, the perpetrators must have been professionals. At least the traces left behind suggest this. In a press, the last drops were also squeezed out of the grapes. Since then, there has been no trace of the fruit itself.

Extensive investigations have so far yielded few other enlightening. The perpetrators would have to be recognizable by juice residues on their clothes. It is hoped that the fingerprints on the bottle will also reveal the perpetrators when the case is investigated.

The Sauvignon Blanc is dry in the nose, very fresh, fruity and shines in its mature way - downright criminally good.
Its bouquet is reminiscent of elderberry, passion fruit and grassy notes. On the palate, the Sauvignon Blanc has a very fine residual sweetness, which wonderfully complements the appetizing acidity. This balance makes the wine a good
accompaniment to meals. Both Mediterranean fish dishes and German asparagus can be excellent accomplices. Serve at 8-10 °C.
